CNBM Strengthens Southeast Asia Ties through Visits to Thailand and Indonesia

From August 25 to 29, Zhou Yuxian, Chairman of China National Building Material Group (CNBM), led a delegation to Thailand and Indonesia at the invitation of local partners, including Charoen Pokphand Group, SCG Group, KPN Group, and SIG Group. During the visit, he attended and delivered a keynote speech at the CNBM Indonesia Promotion Conference. He also met with government agencies, leading enterprises, and long-term partners in both countries. The delegation also visited local subsidiaries and extended greetings to overseas employees.

While in Thailand and Indonesia, Zhou Yuxian held talks respectively with Songsonh Pancharinpwarakorn, Chief Executive of Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya's Administrative Organization; Dr. Chula Sukmanop, Secretary-General of the Eastern Economic Corridor Office of Thailand (EECO); and Todotua Pasaribu, Deputy Minister for Investment and Downstream Industry of Indonesia.

Zhou emphasized CNBM’s commitment to supporting regional development, promoting new projects in green building materials, new energy, and basic construction materials, and deepening strategic cooperation with regional partners.

During the visit, Zhou conducted field research at CNBM's affiliated companies in Thailand and Indonesia, and highlighted CNBM’s internationalization strategy and the Group’s goal of becoming a comprehensive solutions provider integrating products, services, and technology, contributing to industrial modernization and sustainable growth in Southeast Asia..

Major media outlets such as Thai Public Broadcasting Service (TPBS), Channel 31, and Talknews Online in Thailand, as well as Metro TV in Indonesia, provided extensive coverage. Zhou gave an exclusive interview to Metro TV in Indonesia. Chinese media, including Xinhua News Agency, China News Service, and People's Daily Online, simultaneously reported on the promotion conference, reaching nearly 900,000 views in total. Southeast Asian media, such as the International Daily News, Business Times, and Indonesia Daily, published special features on the event.
