CNBM Partners with Dangote Group to Expand Cooperation in African Basic Building Materials and New Energy
On September 7, Zhou Yuxian, Chairman of China National Building Material Group (CNBM), met with Aliko Dangote, Chairman and President of Nigeria's Dangote Group, at CNBM's headquarters. Both sides discussed deepening their comprehensive strategic partnership and promoting mutually beneficial cooperation.
Zhou warmly welcomed the visiting delegation and highlighted that the Dangote Group is an important strategic partner of CNBM. Over the past 17 years, the two parties have jointly implementated multiple cement and petroleum refining engineering projects, establishing a long-term cooperative relationship built on strong mutual trust. Moving forward, CNBM will fully leverage its full-industry-chain advantages in scientific research, advanced equipment, manufacturing, and engineering services to provide Dangote Group with integrated solutions combining products, services, and investment, supporting the high-quality development of Dangote Group and Africa's materials industry.
Aliko Dangote praised CNBM's achievements and expressed hope for further expanding cooperation in areas such as cement, gypsum board, glass, and joint research and innovation. He also looks forward to jointly exploring the Nigerian and broader African markets to achieve mutual benefit and win-win outcomes.
Prior to the meeting, Zhou accompanied Aliko Dangote and his delegation on a visit to the Group's exhibition hall, showcasing CNBM's latest achievements in technological innovation and green development.
